Theresa Kalvaitis was born and raised in Maryland. She attended MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) where she studied commercial art, watercolor and photography. She currently resides and wanders in Key West, Florida. She can be found most often behind her camera looking for that perfect shot! Her favorite subject matter: amazing sunrises and sunsets, architecture, flora & fauna, landscapes and at times something a little more abstract! Her goal is to capture the “little things” with her photography, hoping it inspires others to slow down and see all of the beauty that surrounds us every day. She won the 1st Annual Shoot Out at the Key West Annual Photography Festival. Theresa has had her art selected for the Key West Custom House Museum’s 2018 “From a Woman’s Hand” Exhibit featuring 40 Florida Keys women artists.
All photographs that are printed on the scarves are from Key West. The scarves are packaged with a print of the photo signed and captioned by Theresa Kalvaitis.
