UASHMAMA is a family business based in Tuscany, Italy. The father, Marco, is the creative mind. After decades in the footwear business, he gained significant expertise in all that is handcrafted, and particularly Made in Italy. The mother, Emanuela, is the inspiration for the brand name; "UASHMAMA" is an endearing term for the iconic Italian mother who washes, and who always takes care for, her children. The project began when Emanuela began selling the first paper bags in her shop, Le sorelle-UASHMAMA. Le sorelle (the sisters) are Chiara, Giulia, Gemma and Gaia, who are all involved in the family business with their parents. UASHMAMA is an eco-friendly answer - we are all looking to reduce, reuse and recycle for a sustainable and conscientious way of living.

100% organic "washable" paper with leather details
Wash in warm water using a mild soap or detergent.
We recommend washing the brighter colors separately, these colors are designed to fade.
Do not wash the leather details.
